About me
Your health and well-being take precedence above all else. Therefore, my initial priority is to improve your condition and well-being. That’s why I consider each patient as a whole rather than merely examining individual symptoms.

Education
I received my MD in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Padua, in Italy, where I also completed the specialist training in General Psychiatry, during which I specifically focussed on depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, eating disorders and peripartum psychiatric disorders.
After the specialty, I completed an MSc in Affective Disorders at King’s College London, where I enlarged on my previous knowledge of mood disorders and researched the role of early life stress in depression.
I also regularly attended the South London and Maudsley tertiary care mental health service for patients with treatment-resistant depression, where I honed my diagnostic skills and familiarised myself with administering the most innovative therapies in the field with the aim of improving patients’ quality of life.
Specialization
I worked as a consultant psychiatrist in Italy during the pandemic and then moved back to the UK to work as a consultant psychiatrist in the NHS and the private sector.
I am also a qualified practitioner of TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation).
I am an Associate Specialist member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and a member of the Italian College of Physicians (Ordine dei Medici Chirurghi).
In addition to my latest academic and research experience, I have an excellent clinical background, as a result of my previous work as a General Practitioner and General Consultant Psychiatrist.
TMS is a non-invasive brain stimulation technique. TMS is an FDA (Food and Drugs Administration) and NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) approved treatment for depression.
It is also used to treat a number of other psychiatric conditions, such as anxiety disorders, bipolar depression, OCD, PTSD, substance abuse, addiction and nicotine craving.
